Plein Air Artists Colorado 14th Annual Members' Juried Exhibition - Deadline March 5, 2010
Saks Galleries Denver, Colorado; Juror: Jeff Legg; Best of Show and additional awards to total more than $3000; Open to all PAAC Members working in all two dimensional media (Excluding photography & digital art). Open to all original paintings completed "en Plein air" in 2008, 2009 or 2010 that have not been exhibited in previous PAAC shows. Paintings must be available for sale. The 16th juried competition of the International Association of Pastel Societies will be hosted by the Butler Museum, Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown, Ohio. Prizes will be awarded: First Place, $1,000; Second Place: $500; Third Place, $250, Fourth and Fifth Place: $150, and Honorable Mentions to be determined by the Judge of Awards ($100 each). Open to any artist who is a member of an IAPS Society; approx. 35 paintings will be accepted.Jurors: Alan Flattmann, Liz Haywood-Sullivan, Jimmy Wright, Maggie Price.

Open to all artists working in the soft pastel medium Work may be traditional or non-objective. ALL work must be predominately (80%) executed in soft pastels. Entries must be original. Painting must be identical to accepted CD image. NO paintings over 3 years old. Neutral mats please. Work to be hung must not exceed 36” wide by 48”
